Zinnia of Hope was painted in hopes the viewer gains Strength and Hope from it. It has a 3 dimensional center filled with painted mustard seed to encourage people. I love the verse from the bible: “...Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20. I have always been fascinated with how small a mustard seed really is. Now I put them in my paintings for hope. Verses of hope and peace are collaged in the background and along the sides, along with a prayer of hope: "May you and your family be blessed all the days of your life"
I love to paint! it brings me such joy. My hope is that anyone who buys my art will receive as much joy as I do painting it. A bit of history...I graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. I have run my own Graphic Design business for over 20 years, designing brochures, magazines trade show materials, logos, websites, web ads and more. I have a very creative engineer husband who amazes me every day and three incredible boys. They kept me so busy I rarely got the chance to paint. The economy hit my business hard and I decided I would expand my business to include my first love: PAINTING! In hopes to pay bills and bring in income for my boys education. I love flowers they bring such joy to me. It amazes me...
