“Wellness Poppy” is an original mixed media acrylic 18” x 24” painting. This painting of a 3D red poppy was created to echo patients from Carroll Hospital Center’s inspiring words. The poppy petals come out from the canvas and are filled with words from the patients hoping to inspire anyone sitting in the waiting room with encouraging, uplifting words. Words of healing and hope, peace, holding on, strength, surround yourself with love, and more.

I love to paint! it brings me such joy. My hope is that anyone who buys my art will receive as much joy as I do painting it. A bit of history...I graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. I have run my own Graphic Design business for over 20 years, designing brochures, magazines trade show materials, logos, websites, web ads and more. I have a very creative engineer husband who amazes me every day and three incredible boys. They kept me so busy I rarely got the chance to paint. The economy hit my business hard and I decided I would expand my business to include my first love: PAINTING! In hopes to pay bills and bring in income for my boys education. I love flowers they bring such joy to me. It amazes me...
