"Daisy Friends" was painted with acrylic paint over a mixed media collage of inspirational words. The center of the daisy is inlaid with actual mustard seed because I love the verse: “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20 (NIV) Flowers do so much.... they bring joy, glory, honor, thankfulness, kindness, comfort, healing, happiness. I inlaid this canvas with the KJV verse of James 2:23 ..."was called the Friend of God." I hope it brings you as much truth and happiness as I gained from painting it.
I love to paint! it brings me such joy. My hope is that anyone who buys my art will receive as much joy as I do painting it. A bit of history...I graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. I have run my own Graphic Design business for over 20 years, designing brochures, magazines trade show materials, logos, websites, web ads and more. I have a very creative engineer husband who amazes me every day and three incredible boys. They kept me so busy I rarely got the chance to paint. The economy hit my business hard and I decided I would expand my business to include my first love: PAINTING! In hopes to pay bills and bring in income for my boys education. I love flowers they bring such joy to me. It amazes me...
